Juniper Networks Enhanced Feature License for EX2200-C
The Juniper EX-12-EFL Enhanced Feature License is required to enable and utilize some of the Juniper Network's features. Once the license has been purchased and installed, users are able to configure and use several features. The purchased authorization code for the Juno OS feature license is universal. For conformity to Juno OS licensing requirements, customers must install a license key. The license key is a unique combination of the authorization code and the serial number that is located on each switch. As long as the switch has the necessary authorization software license, the features can be configured.
Some of the features enabled with the Juniper EX-12-EFL Enhanced Feature License for the Juniper Networks EX2200 Ethernet switches include: bidirectional forwarding detection (BFD), Q-in-Q tunneling, real-time performance managing (RPM), connectivity-fault management, OSPFv1/v2 (with four active interfaces), Internet Group Management Protocol versions 1, 2 and 3, Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) dense mode, PIM source specific mode and PIM sparse mode. These features can all be added to basic Juno operating systems by purchasing and installing the EFL.
