Senior Vice President of Sales
Vology Senior Vice President John O’Shea brings over 18 years of experience in developing and implementing customer centric strategies in the IT industry.
John joined Vology in 2012 from Tech Data Corporation, a $26 billion Fortune 109 ranked global IT distribution company. At Tech Data John served as Vice President, HP Solutions and was responsible for sales and marketing for their largest vendor partner, Hewlett-Packard. Prior to that O’Shea served as Vice President, Networking Product Marketing. In his 16 years at Tech Data he served in a number of leadership roles including marketing, purchasing and sales. He was named Tech Data’s Vice President of the Year in 2011.
O’Shea was recognized in 2012 as a Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility. He has also served on the Boards of the Pinellas County Urban League and the Pinellas Unit of the American Cancer Society.
O’Shea holds a B.A. from the University of Florida and an MBA from The Florida State University.

Senior VP of Business Development
Peter is currently SVP of Vology Inc. a full service technical solutions advisor based in Oldsmar Florida. The company has annual revenues of $135M. He joined the company in January 2013 after his company; Bayshore Technologies was acquired by Vology Inc. His current role is to oversee the successful integration of the two companies with the goal to be the largest company of its kind in Florida.
From 1997-2012 Peter served as Bayshore Technologies Chief Executive Officer. In that role, he oversaw the strategic growth of Bayshore since its inception in 1997. Peter worked closely with the sales, marketing, technology, accounting and operations departments of Bayshore. He passionately believes the culture of teamwork at Bayshore was a key ingredient to the success of the company.
Before entering the technology field, he spent 20 years in the professional sports business as a player, coach and general manager as well as working for Nike (Great Britain) as Director of Soccer Operations. He is very involved in the local Tampa Bay community and is extremely proud of his American Citizenship which was given to him in 2009.

Vice President of Vendor Relations
Mr. Malivuk joined Vology in 2008 as Director of Operations and in 2011 was promoted to Vice President of Operations, responsible for warehouse operations, global procurement of goods, the quality management system and business intelligence. He was promoted to his current role of Vice President of Vendor Relations in 2012 and is responsible for the strategic management of Vology’s supply chain, comprised of managing the partnerships with OEM’s, distributors and vendors, developing Vology’s solutions roadmap, global procurement of goods and growing the wholesale channel.
Mr. Malivuk brings extensive, diverse leadership experience to the Company, with a rich mix of operations, finance, supply chain, business intelligence, sales and product management. Before joining Vology, Mr. Malivuk led business intelligence and process improvement projects in accounting and financial reporting for Sage Software.
Prior to his tenure at Sage Software, Mr. Malivuk held a variety of leadership roles in finance and accounting, business intelligence, sales operations and sales at Tech Data Corporation. He began his career as Operations Manager for Stephen Gould Corporation. Mr. Malivuk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and an MBA from the University of South Florida. He currently sits on the board of the United Network Equipment Dealers Association (UNEDA), an alliance of more than 300 of the top used network equipment dealers worldwide.

Vice President of Major Accounts
With over 20 years of technology sector marketing, sales, operations and professional services experience, John brings his extensive experience in sales, developing emerging business opportunities, strategic partnerships and delivering best-in-class technology solutions to Vology’s global customer base.
Prior to joining Vology, Medaska created and led technology solutions organizations within the networking, server, storage, telephony and PC sectors, delivering new and pre-owned solutions from top vendors such as IBM, Cisco, HP, Lenovo, EMC, Avaya and other leading vendors.
He served as Vice President at IT Xchange, where he developed and managed the company’s North American solutions business. Prior to that, Medaska was Senior Vice President at Relational Technology Solutions, where he led the enterprise solutions business in North America and managed OEM, vendor and distributor relationships. During his career, Medaska served in a range of executive and management roles at Intrasec Corporation, ActivCard and Intermedia Communications. He began his career at IBM.
Medaska holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of South Florida. He currently serves on various boards and has been a board member for ASCDI as well as Vice President of the Tampa Bay ISSA chapter. He is currently President of the Tampa Bay InfraGard organization, a member of ELA and a member of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.

Vice President of Digital Marketing
As VP of Digital Marketing, Rich oversees the strategic direction of digital strategy across a convergence of Marketing, Ecommerce and Business Analytics departments at Vology.
Prior to assuming his current role, Rich was Director of Operations responsible for warehouse operations, including Vology’s data and voice engineering labs, counterfeit detection program, and materials quality control, as well as enterprise-wide ISO 9001:2008 compliance. He joined Vology as Director of Finance with oversight over financial reporting, operational finance, budgeting and other strategic finance functions.
Prior to joining Vology, Rich spent more than 10 years in investment banking where he focused on assisting rapid-growth companies raise necessary debt and equity capital, as well as conducting key capital research and analyses primarily in the area of applied valuation. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001, and still maintains several other elite finance designations for the purpose of applying unconventional solutions to business issues across a variety of departments.
Rich began his career out of college as a retail banker and credit analyst. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration (Economics) from the University of West Florida and an MBA in Management from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he graduated with honors, and with the distinction of “Most Valuable” student contributor as voted by his classmates. Rich’s areas of academic interest at Goizueta were economics, finance, cost accounting, operations research and marketing science.
He enjoys casual sporting activities, snowboarding, competitive go-karting and time spent with his wife and daughter.

Chief Financial Officer
As Vology's COO, Steve Torres oversees all financial, operational and HR functions, including strategic planning, accounting and reporting, taxes, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, business intelligence, purchasing and logistics management.
Torres brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience to the company, including expertise in public and private capital offerings, financial and operational transformations and regulatory compliance expertise, specializing in SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Torres joined Vology as CFO in 2007 after serving as Director of Financial Reporting for Jabil, Inc., a Fortune 250 global electronics manufacturing company. During his tenure at Jabil, Inc., Torres managed the corporate financial reporting and SEC compliance functions. He played a key role in several domestic and international acquisitions, handling transactions with values ranging between $5-million to $900-million.
Prior to joining Jabil, Inc., Torres served as Director of Financial Reporting and Tax at Syniverse Technologies, a global telecommunications solutions provider, where he played an integral role in orchestrating the company’s $281-million IPO, then the largest IPO in Tampa’s history. Before Syniverse, Torres served as the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for the $10-billion U.S. segment of Tech Data, a Fortune 100 global distribution company.
Torres began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Torres is a CPA and earned his Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and his MBA from Regis University.

Debi Steigerwald is the Director of eCommerce at Vology, the preeminent hybrid provider of technology solutions and services. In her eight years at Vology, Debi has touched many facets of the organization from sales operations and training to customer service. Currently Debi manages the eCommerce initiative that catalogs 100k products across 30 brands, a robust portal for customers to manage their account, and the digital marketing team overseeing paid and organic search, marketing automation and content creation. Debi attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and St. Pete College, is a PMI certified PMP and pursuing the PMI Agile Project Management certification. By utilizing an agile and project management approach to digital marketing she has driven progress by using an iterative approach to strategy implementation.

Chief Technology Officer
Frank Mann is the Chief Technology Officer for Vology, leading a team of highly skilled technical consultants and engineers in the delivery of “Best of Breed” Virtual, Storage and Network Technology solutions. In addition, Frank drives the technological direction of Vology’s various solution offerings through detailed vetting of new technologies that will enhance Vology’s existing solution set.
Prior to the acquisition of Bayshore Technologies by Vology, Frank was the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bayshore Technologies. Established in 1997, Bayshore Technologies was one of the leading Systems Integration / Solution Providers in Florida with 50 employees and 20 consultants. As a Microsoft Gold Infrastructure Partner, Citrix Platinum Partner, and VmWare Enterprise Partner, Bayshore specializes in the design, implementation, and support of Virtual Server and Desktop Infrastructure for small, medium, and enterprise businesses all over the state of Florida.
Prior to founding Bayshore Technologies, Frank was the Computer Operation Manager at the St.Petersburg Times, Florida largest Newspaper. Frank started his career Computer Technologies in the United States Navy as a Data System Technician with deployments on the Aircraft Carrier Saratoga and the Mayport Florida Naval Station as a Data Center Supervisor.

John Dionne has been with Vology since 2006, beginning his career at the company in the role of Senior Developer and moving to his current role as Director of Software Development in August 2007. His main responsibilities are leading Vology’s software development efforts for the Internal Systems and eCommerce teams.
Since starting his IT career in 1997, John has worked on complex software projects for companies such as GATX Corporation, Lakewood Engineering, TAP Pharmaceuticals/Abbot Labs, SubmitOrder.com, State Farm Insurance, Northern Trust Bank and Publix Supermarkets.
John is a Certified Scrum Master and Agile evangelist. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics, from Memorial University, St. John’s, Newfoundland.

General Manager | Vology West
Jeff Smith is the General Manager of Vology West in Irvine Ca. Jeff is responsible for the strategy and execution of the Vology West operation, including leading the sales and engineering teams, crafting technical solutions offerings, and defining the teams overall market approach.
Jeff joined Vology in 2014 via the acquisition of the State, Local, and Education division of Govplace. Jeff was also the General Manager for Govplace where he spent 4 years on the Executive Leadership team. During his management tenure, his division sustained consistent compound annual revenue growth of 30% while improving profitability, employee retention and customer satisfaction. Previous to that, Jeff spent nearly a decade in business development roles and serviced customers throughout California specializing in datacenter transformations and managed services / utility computing solutions.
Jeff is an active contributor to multiple public sector customer organizations, such as CCISDA (County Governments), CETPA (K-12 Education), MISAC (Cities), and CISOA (Community Colleges).
Jeff is a longtime surfer and has traveled from El Salvador to Indonesia searching for waves in the most remote locations of the globe. Jeff also plays guitar, and was in a hard rock band called Weazul Meat. Jeff lives in Southern California with his wife Julie.
