The Cisco 7606S fan was specifically made for 7607-S chassis. Because these chassis are typically used in high load applications that draw up to 750W of power per slot, they require advanced thermal and airflow management. For this reason, the FAN-MOD-6SHS units we carry are able to create five different speeds for the ideal side-to-side cooling flow.

Use this fan tray to replace the burnt-out old fan module in your current chassis, or just keep it around as a backup. It may come in handy some day when you need to rescue a cabinet or deal with an overheated data center that's taxing your current cooling units. Installation is easy because the FAN-MOD-6SHS slides right into the mounting slot in your chassis and includes its own screws as well as a fan status light that lets you know that all six fans are doing their job.
