This Cisco uBR 7200 router card provides processing power of its own with QoS capabilities in order to alleviate the stress of chassis upgrades. This device supports PacketCable 1.1-qualified technology allowing operators to deploy advanced IP services rapidly.

Eight upstream ports and two downstream ports are available on the UBR-MC28U. Operating frequencies from 200 kHz to 6.4 MHz in the DOCSIS 2.0 mode for upstream can yield up to 30.96 Mbit/sec raw bit rate. This gives the Cisco uBR 7200 router card a wide range of capabilities for transmission protocols depending on the DOCSIS format of your location. Supported modulation schemes include 64-QAM, 32-QAM, 16-QAM, 8-QAM, and QPSK for EuroDOCSIS 2.0. The EuroDOCSIS 1.1 data rates only support 16-QAM and QPSK modulation schemes.
